  • 1 pound ground beef, turkey, lamb, etc

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger

  • Preheat oven to 425F. Line a sheet pan with parchment or foil if desired.
  • Combine the meat and seasonings and form into 4 patties. Lay a pineapple ring on top of each.
  • Cut each strip of bacon in half and lay them side by side across the top of each pineapple-topped burger.
  • Bake on sheet pan for 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the meat is cooked through.

We like to serve this over rice, quinoa, or along side a baked potato or sweet potato, and a salad or vegetable. It'd be great on a sprouted or sourdough bun with avocado spread too!

I adapted this recipe from ACleanPlate.com to be a little quicker to cook and to use less bacon for affordability.
